These are some practice I did to re-discover light and shadow of nature and cities then reconstruct them with digital tools.
As for me, I always feel objects are just shape and color blocks divided by light and cast by shadow.

Obeservation is the fundamental for artist and I believe for designers as well.
It really helps a lot in creating interface and user experience. When you obeserve the look and texture of things, you think about its usage or message the producer conveys. With that in mind, you can capture subtle design changes and easier to reconstruct scenes of using.
