Small People Big World

PROJECT BRIEF

DESIGN CHALLENGE
I am required to create a coffee table book that shows originality in idea and competence in design application. The book content may be sourced from any published media (blogs and other magazines), and later assembled and redesigned into own book. The title of the book must be chatchy, its masthead design relevant and comtemporary to the target audience.

CONSIDERATION
Emphasis on critical thinking, advanced visualization and the application of communication intent to a complex document. Useful knowledge includes the basic principles of effective typography;the use of grids; integration
of graphics and photos into publications;basic information design principles; working with spot, process
color and seperations, principles of page assembly and other methodologies to design and produce
a variety of multi-page publications.

CONCEPT
Human used to use, abuse, neglet or even kill animals. One of the important reasons for human to do that is because the animals cant really do anything back to them, so people seem to take any kind of anger on them
to show their feelings.

Instead of telling them to stop doing these uneducated actions, this book is to remind them and give them an idea that they will get judgment someday if they continue doing that.

Story started with WHAT IF. What if someday the animals are all 10 times bigger than the human and attack them just like how they being bullied.

BOOK LAYOUT
-10 triangles overlapped to form a layout grid.
-10 columns grid with every increment 12pt baseline grid.

STYLE
Photography based with body text in odd shapes.
