The crown was created for my client and is based on the old Irish folklore story The Children of Lír.

The story being the king's wife died leaving him to raise four beautiful children. To help him the king remarries but the new queen is jealous of the children and secretly turns them into swans telling the king they were killed.

It’s a very sad story, once you hear it, it will stay with you forever…

Within the crown you can see two swans meeting and the love between them being represented with a heart.
