This project was inspired by Nike ads that are currently in circulation. The ads are geared towards women in an effort to encourage women to embrace their bodies. We asked our models to pick a part of their bodies that they were particularly proud of, then we asked them to write a short piece about that part of them. During the photoshoot, we used harsh lighting to really bring out the shadows and contrast created by the various muscles on the models.
