The client runs a craft micro-brewery in Yellowknife, NWT. He's also a pilot, ferrying workers up to the northern camps. The ptarmigan is the iconic game bird of the tundra. We combined the wheat of the prairies with a ptarmigan feather to create a set of graceful wings. Beautiful art and design by Candace Evans, ably assisted by Dan Cunningham.
