Fundamentals of Graphic Design

This project focused on the advertising aspects of graphic design. We were asked to choose a small and seemingly insignificant object, market it in a unique way, and create two black and white print advertisements and one color. I chose to feature the kazoo and market it as a professional instrument, but that it also had sentimental value due to its longevity as a musical instrument.
This is the first of three book covers that we designed for a series on famous graphic designers. I chose to highlight three grandfathers of typography, Baskerville, Bodoni, and Garamond.
Our final project was to rebrand a local theater and market one of the upcoming shows it was producing. This dinner theater was outdated, so I sought to bring it into the 21st century and make it upscale and enticing to a younger crowd as well.
