Typographic study on Goudy Old Style, class project.
Typographic calendar class project: This poster was project for my typography class. The objective was to created a calendar that was unique. We were placed on teams and my team decided to split the calendar up by seasons. We liked the idea of doing something with major cites around the world and since a calendar is one thing that unites us. A lot of the major cities have subways we came up with the idea of designing the calendar as a subway map.

I did this t-shirt design for the day counselors at the M.E. Lyons YMCA of Greater Cincinnati. They appropriately call the day camp “Camp Pride”. This was a fun design project especially since I was one of the counselors. It was a cool feeling getting to wear my design all summer.
I think the saying goes “every person has a story”. Stories can be told verbally, through written word, or through images. An obvious choice would have been to design this phrase with a book theme, but as an artist I see stories through beautiful paintings.
