Problem in the City | Active Space

ACTIVE SPACE is a mission to resolve dead space. Dead spaces are areas (both big & small) deemed inactive, unused, or used improperly. The mission is to seek out existing Dead Spaces in the chosen environment. For this project, I chose to focus solely on Rutgers-Camden campus. I attempted to resolve these dead spaces by revitalizing the space with different actions, thus repurposing the space and making them utilitarian.

Each phase of the project was captured in both photographs as well as video. The photographs at the end were used as content for Volume 1 of ACTIVE SPACE magazine. The videos were edited and released to the ACTIVE SPACE website and instagram as teasers prior to the release of the printed publication.
