IN THE MAY OF 2011, this fellow called Anna Hazare tried to get everyone out on the streets to demonstrate non-tolerance of corruption and to call for transparency in government systems. Around mid-August that year it was obvious that he had succeeded.
The idea was to create something that had the potential to spread like wild fire to communicate one of Anna’s flagship movements- The Jan Lokpal, a call for a citizens ombudsman organization.
It was made to be easy to print and xerox (copy), on any paper and simple to turn into a booklets, that could be distributed. The content was voiced such that it would help the user question and decide their stand.
