1. Objective Project
The message I am trying to communicate to my clients is that Cherished is a comfortable and professional business. The color of purple can be very fun, yet comforting.
 
2. Research
After researching greeting card and invitation companies, I found that not many of them actully allow for clients to come in with ideas and the company then generates it. Greeting card companies come in many colors but purple is not one that I saw much of. I feel that purple is a color that targets the most clients for this type of business.
 
3. Concept and Solution
I want my clients to feel beauty when looking at my business.  Using collateral that is mostly targeted toward women will help sell more product. Finding the right logo, which is a butterfly, is something that I had to think about for a while. My original thought was to use a flower for my logo but after realizing that flowers are used to identify many greeting cards, I decided to go with a free and elegant butterfly.

5. Target Market
The target market for greeting and invitation card companies is around 90% women.  No matter what career women are in, or no matter what ethnicity or religion they are, greeting cards are mostly purchased by women.
