Following is a selection of logos that I designed for freelance clients. I worked closely with my clients to make sure the creative solution met their specific needs.
The promotional materials below were designed for different events, contests and class assignments. The first design was created as part of my internship with the WGLZ radio station. The station sponsored a comedy night on the West Liberty University campus. The next design was created as part of a class project. The poster combines typography, Illustrator, and Photoshop layers and effects in order to achieve a neon glow appearance. The last two pieces are for a poster design contest that I have entered.
The two sided coaster designed below is a entry for a coaster designing contest for the band Dr.Dog. The band gave out specififc requirements as well as places to draw inspiration in order for the design to represent the image the band was portraying with the tour.
These two pieces are a menu redesign created for a Typography class project and a book jacket redesign project for my Graphic Design class. The specific fonts in the menu and design elements I chose create a modern, simplified appearance while keeping with the restaurant’s western theme. In the book jacket design my selection of images relates to the story and captures the reader’s attention and makes them curious about the contents that lay inside the book. My font selection with this piece works to stand out as a bold element and embodies the strong ideas that are present in the book.
This piece is a wordmark created for a Typography class project. The character designs are based on the geometric shape of a circle. The circle is further emphasized in the shape of the serifs, as can be seen in the enlarged image of the wordmark.
The last two samples are type centered designs that illustrate their meaning.
