Craft beer, Vlakvark.

The brief
Create a brand, packaging and promotional items for a new craft beer. 
 
The concept
Animals (warthogs) get drunk on the African Marula fruit. They have a “marula-party”. The idea is that this beer should be enjoyed in a social group, in the company of good friends. The users of “Vlakvark” get drunk on the beer like the warthogs get drunk on the Marula fruit.
 
The design
Name: Vlakvark
BEER: Marula flavoured fruit beer
The target market is students, young people who like to socialize. On the label of the fruit beer, a warthog can be seen lying down, looking drunk. The label is a mixture of photography, vector drawing and line drawing. A Marula fruit can be seen close to the warthogs mouth. Promotional items: alcohol test, coasters and car sign. On the coasters a QR code can be found, when you scan the QR code, it takes you to the WWF website. Warthogs can be adopted on the website. When a person adopts a warthog, they get the car sign to show that they helped a warthog in need by “adopting” it.
