This is my main process through to the finalization for a concept for a poster advertising the three day "Sasquatch!" music festival that is held in The Gorge; a very scenic location in Washington, US.
The goal was to design and illustrate a poster that would tie together the name and unique characteristics of its location.
Developing basic rough ideas on sketch paper, and then brought the more successful of each into photoshop. Originally was left with just two after some ruling out.
Decided that I preferred a vertical format for the poster design, so I stuck with the content of the horizontal layout but instead centered it to draw in the headliner and the bottom text.
