Hook Man Urban Legend

This piece was created for my Advertising Illustration class, the assignment went as follows.

Background. The customer base is heavily skewed toward women, who accounted for 80% of customers as reported in 2013. To attract more male customers, Shutterfly wants to launch a direct marketing campaign centered on American Urban Legends. Illustrators will be hired to provide the images to calendars that will be given out at sporting events, direct mail, and for purchase on various web stores as well as national gift stores.

Objective. Create a finished illustration that addresses American Urban Legends to be used for a calendar.
