In case the text on the second image is difficult to see....
Here is how i approached this painting:
In “1” i made a quick value sketch in PS . Then in “2” i threw in the base colors on a new layer switched to color mode. From “3” to “6” i just continued painting and refining the image in Corel Painter using the “Impasto brushes”.
Finally i switched again to PS where i made some final little tweaks.
