Bartels Science Illustration Internship - 2011
During my four-month internship at the Cornell Lab, I worked on several projects, including creating illustrations for a documentary that told the exciting story of the first Bar-tailed Godwit tracked during nine continuous days of flight, providing full-color paintings for the third edition of the Handbook of Bird Biology, creating graphics for the centerfold of the Summer Issue of BirdScope.

A truly unique gift was learning how to skin and stuff specimens for their Collections. I prepared an American Robin, Catbird and Oriole.
