Linen half-lined jacket, 320gsm, herringbone weave
concept drawings, I planned for 119cm width in chest and 96cm in waist so that the ease would be 11cm and 8cm respectively for accentuated silhouette, lenght 61cm so that when buttoned up the bottom lays slightly below the belt
Pattern pieces, based on a classic 3-part tailored jacket, back piece consederably wider for more movement range, middle part came out suprisingly small, 2-part sleeeve (inside part marked by cuttings)
hand finished buttonholes and pick stitching on the edges and lining
functional buttonhole on the sleeves, rounded sleevehead
inside pocket on hand-finished facing, butterfly lining finished with rolled hem, with canvas underneath for strenght, canvas also on the front panel under the facing
visible width in the back for arm movement
loose inspiration
