My family had a dog named Briggs until he suddenly died in the middle of the COVID lockdown. He was a gentle soul, and so ugly that he turned the corner and landed squarely on Adorable. He had three legs, a ridiculous underbite, and the tip of his tail touched his sides when he wagged. I drew this piece before he passed, and now I see it every day and think of this beloved creature. Good boy, Briggs.
