Brouwerij Okie Beer Label

Beer lable design for local beer company Prairie Ales.

We set some of our antique wood type initially to create the main logo style. Printed that black and scanned in to use original wood texture as much as possible.

We used all the different type we printed and additional type to create concepts for the client.
One of the lockops of the first layer.

First layer printed - Classic Crest laid paper. We started with yellow and added red to get a range of colors. There were several different lock ups of the first B background layer - 100% all antique wood type. We wanted each label to be as unique as the rare special brewing of this beer - the first they brewed in their Tulsa facility.
Beer being bottled - finished lables attached. Last I heard people were paying up to $200 for this special brew from the upand coming Prairie Ales. Even had someone call me asking where to get it.

For a beer this special we designed and created so special coasters to enjoy with the tasting.
