Excited to share my collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MoE), India, as part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) initiative, under the World University of Design, Sonipat, Haryana.
The journey of UBA began with the dedication of faculty members committed to rural development and appropriate technology. It evolved through extensive consultations with technical institutions, Rural Technology Action Group (RuTAG) coordinators, voluntary organizations, and government agencies. Inspired by the vision of transformative change in rural development, I served as a Design Coordinator, fostering a symbiotic relationship between society and an inclusive academic system.
During my tenure, I had the privilege of working with over five government girls' schools in Haryana villages. Engaging in student career counselling and open elective courses, I witnessed firsthand the impact of education on rural communities.
