For this project, I was tasked with creating conceptual product packaging based off of a character from a movie or TV show. The catch was to create a product that is either for or inspired by the character. I chose Padme Amidala from Star Wars. I created three variations of packaging for royal headpieces that are inspired by Amidala's royal attire. Each variation includes a character trait or quality of Queen Amidala; hope, peace, and courage. I began by designing the logo and patterns. I then created the dielines and constructed my boxes. Each box has a string of beads to give an idea of what the actual product might look like.
