Empty is an image I took for a color abstract project. Taken from the wall of a bar located in New Albany, Indiana.  I love exposed brick, and the Southern Indiana area has so many old buildings that after renovations, they have taken the time to bring out the time withstanding carpenter and masonry work. A nod to the past. 

I used Photoshop to enhance the red and altered the exposure and contrast through curves. I love the depth of field in this photos. While you do not know right away what your looking at, it invites you to rest upon and decide.
