Squid are cephalopods of the order Teuthida, which comprises around 300 species. Like all other cephalopods, squid have a distinct head, bilateral symmetry, a mantle, and arms.

 

Ventrrilosquids, grow their talents by practicing for 5 hours each day in the dark dark depths, or the light shallows. Basically anywhere that's quiet.

...or noisey, they don't care really.

 

Anyhow, as hilarious as they insist their jokes are, it is not recommended for humans to to view their performances, as they are likey to attack in order to gain new puppets.

...and they don't speak ANY human languages. Though if i had to guess, i think they'd sound cockney.
