This project was my first experience with Adobe Illustrator. Initially, it was challenging, but as I continued to work on it, I became more accustomed to the software. Many may not recognize these cartoons; they are from a Korean group known as BTS (Bangtan Boys), who have created their own cartoon characters named BT21. My partner also enjoys them, so I was inspired to create this for her as my inaugural project.

Creating my first self-portrait in Illustrator was challenging due to the numerous shadows in my photo and uncertainty about the best brush for my facial and head hair. Despite encountering numerous issues, I'm pleased with the final look. It's quite an accomplishment for a beginner, and I'm proud to have tried something new.
