Third year digital illustration university project. We were asked to choose a particular artist and use their personal style to create a self portrait, predominantly using Photoshop. I chose the street artist Shepard Fairey. My self portrait is filled with personal motifs and symbols, such as the layering of newspaper clippings from the devastating earthquake that had just hit my home city in 2011.
