Objective: to design a cover for Tidewater Community College's annual art magazine. The design challenges were to include the name of the publication 340 Art & Design Annual with the possibility of a name change to 260 Art & Design Annual. 25th Edition was to be displayed with the idea of a reveal, as well as the aesthetic of having a layered look. 

Solution: We designed a translucent cover to allow the viewer to see 260 through the cover but to also create visual interest with the layered colors. We kept 340 that also hides the reveal of 25th edition when you open the cover. The typeface Joshmi was chosen to mimic the pipe design that will be seen throughout the publication.
