The process is shown in the grid below. I began by making a mind map of my chosen artist, who has a bright colorful, vintage style which I tried to recreate in my work. Next you will see the thumbnail I sketched out after evaluating what materials could help achieve my goals. In the next image you will find a scan of the analog portion of this assignment, where in I utilized a variety of colorful, torn strips of paper as well as some custom stickers which I colored with POSCA paint markers and Ohuhu alcohol ones. The last image has the text added, as well as some adjustments I made to the contrast and coloring. In the final image, however, I ended up toning down the overly bright colors to achieve the vintage look present in all of Fulton Lee's media. I attempted to capture Fulton's not-too-serious outlook with more informal and graphic fonts. Overall I am happy with the results of this and look forward to integrating analog and digital design more in future.
