"Home." is a motion graphic project that has been carefully crafted based on the designer's experiences living in various countries, where diverse cultures and lifestyles left unforgettable memories.
Individuals sharing a similar background often find themselves asking questions about where their true home lies, where they belong, and what defines them. However, the most dominant factor in this project is to convey the message that they improve, develop, and evolve through positive and negative experiences.
This project's most important element, the meaning of colours, can be broadly divided into three categories. In the first scene, blue is used as the dominant colour, symbolizing positivity such as youth, hope, and courage, representing anticipation for a bright future ahead. In the second scene, a transition to black and white occurs, signifying the loss of colour due to negative experiences. Finally, in the last scene, the dominant colour is maroon, symbolizing the rediscovery of forgotten aspects of life and embarking on a new journey.
Abstract and metaphorical elements are applied to the project, with the journey of geometric shapes serving as a visual narrative for the transformative process. In the motion graphic video, the process of personal growth can be observed through the journey of geometric shapes and their movement.
