Kati Phillips's profile

The Anonymous Crimestopper

Our local branch of Crime Stoppers wanted to run a series of outdoor advertisements to build awareness of their newest tip option — text messaging — and emphasize the anonymity of their service. We paired on-location photography with comic book illustrations to create a dynamic visual character.

The concept hinges on the idea of making a difference yet remaining anonymous. We wanted to encourage people to act when they see crimes in our city, instead of being a bystander. The tagline is a strong call to action that emphasizes the anonymity of the service while conveying the message that anyone can be a superhero.
