WILDLAND was my bachelor thesis. I had the idea of creating a possibility to use the everyday car for camping. In my opinion camper vans and RVs are just too expensive and a caravan is not that flexible. Also I am a tent lover so I thought about possibilities to use a tent in combination with a car. Quickly I found roof top tents. But nearly all of these are made for cars at least of the size of an SUV. I tried to figure out which different requirements are important for smaller and lower cars and developed supported by THULE and VAUDE my version of a roof top tent.
