For my wedding this past May, one of my favorite projects was the design and creation of my own wedding invitations. The paper was from Paper Source and the printing was done on a home laser printer, which worked out incredibly well.

 

The font for the names had to be manually adjusted to make it smoothly connect...

 

The wedding color, bright royal blue, was chosen to match my engagement ring (a sapphire). The blue was used throughout the wedding in flowers, bridesmaid dresses, my shoes, etc!

 

The envelopes featured envelope liners made from dotted Japanese washi paper.

 

All invitations and envelopes were hand-assembled by me and my wonderful family. All envelopes were hand-addressed by me.

Bonus - Guest favors! Just simple pralines with address labels printed with the same hot air balloon.
