❶ Gertrudes (B) is the combination of two design ideologies & how each of these ideologies could play out if they were followed more ridgedly. ❷ On one hand (A) we have the traditional notion of what a geometric sans could look like and on the other (C) we look at a more dogmatic approach, favouring more angular character forms. ❸ All three of these sub families (A, B & C) share common metrics, weights and some characters, however the result is three vastly different feeling typefaces.
