Anime NFL-Style Football Gloves
This commision called for a merge of two typically uncommon worlds into a single cohesive unit. Anime and American Football. Directly inspired by specific and world-renowed animes (HxH, DBZ), the client sought to convey the anger and raw power of select characters (Gon, Majin Buu) with american football acting as its medium.

The vibrant, colorful aesthetic intends to represent Gon's unbridled rage, while also maintaining an orange-yellow palette inspired by his signature attack, the Jajanken.
The japanese text above Gon's head reads: "Saisho wa gū" which is the beggining sentence of his signature catchphrase when performing his Jajanken, the same attack he is performing in the drawing. (Roughly translated: "First comes rock...")
As for the DBZ design, Majin Buu was chosen as the featured character, itself being an emblematic villain from the anime. Boasting a unique pink-lilac color gamut, immediately making the design stand out on its own, this piece sought to be very representative of the character and its overall chaotic / larger-than-life energy.
