Is Anyone REALLY Listening?
When you're a creator or online artist you're always excited seeing those counters go up, but sometimes you wonder how many are truly engaging? You're excited, but you worry your ideas will put people to sleep instead.
This was another fun Mondays Challenge week, with a difficult prompt. I had an idea quickly, but when I sketched out the character, the style didn't quite fit. I really liked the character idea, however, since it was a marked difference from the prior week, so I made a pivot.
Everything was made in Illustrator and animated in After Effects. Even despite the flat look, I still used a Joysticks n Sliders rig for the head turn and mouth. That extra little 3D flourish and smoothness between poses adds quite a lot even to 2D designs.
