COLLAGES “DE IDA Y VUELTA” SERIES
INTRODUCTION
The series of collages "De ida y vuelta”, was performed in a period of four months; elapsed time of the coming of my stays in artist in residence in United States programs, I agreed to carry out deep reflection about my creation, both in theme, poetic and symbolic aspects and aesthetic solutions.
These enriching human and artistic experiences on the other side of the Atlantic, giving name to the series, with a remembrance in the name to the "cantes de ida y vuelta", musical relationship between Spain and America. Relations which, as you can see in the collages, stretching to the East.
I feel real fascination for this direct and deep technique. A magazine combines text and image, reflective and visual beauty in provided balance. The creation of each one of the collage was reflected in poetic writings, continuity of my relationship with the paper written and illustrated.
SERIES
The series of collages is composed of sixteen pieces of three sizes: - Eleven collages of 32,5 x 45,5 ó 45,5 x 32,5 cms.
- Four collages of 29,7 x 21 ó 21 x 29,7 cms.
- One collage of 50 x 65 cms.

The works are framed with black passe-partout, glass and aluminium grey frame.
INTRODUCCIÓN
La serie de collages “De ida y vuelta”, fue realizada en un período de cuatro meses; transcurrido un tiempo de la venida de mis estancias en los programas de artista en residencia en Estados Unidos, convine realizar una profunda reflexión sobre mi creación, tanto en aspectos temáticos, poéticos y simbólicos como en soluciones estéticas.
Estas experiencias artísticas y humanas enriquecedoras al otro lado del Atlántico, dan nombre a la serie, con una remembranza en el nombre a los “cantes de ida y vuelta”, relación musical entre España y América. Relaciones que, como podréis ver en los collages, se extienden al Oriente.
Siento verdadera fascinación por esta técnica directa y profunda. Una revista conjuga texto e imagen, belleza reflexiva y visual en proporcionado equilibrio. La creación de cada uno de los collages se reflejaba en escritos poéticos, continuidad de mi relación con el papel escrito e ilustrado.
LA SERIE
La serie está compuesta de dieciséis obras, de tres tamaños:
- Once collages de 32,5 x 45,5 ó 45,5 x 32,5 cms.
- Cuatro collages de 29,7 x 21 ó 21 x 29,7 cms.
- Un collage de 50 x 65 cms.
Los trabajos están enmarcados, con paspartú negro y cristal.
