In Croatia, on the island of Brac, there is an old school of stone artists. They work with limestone, which is found only on this island. This technology is hundreds of years old and is still alive today.
The illustration for the thank you card and guideline is a linoleum engraving. In the background you can see the distant shores of mainland Croatia and the outlines of the island's architecture. In the foreground is a master stone-cutter, in his hands ancient but proven tools.
The illustrations were inspired by 15th century engravings. It was important to highlight and preserve the authentic spirit and atmosphere of this ancient craftsmanship.
