Technically accurate, with real-world gear ratios, the model was 'mock-rigged' to allow drive-speed control and shifting into each gear configuration via a separate non-visible controller. This made animation straightforward and minimised the chances of mistakes further down the pipeline.

Methods for illustrating the flow of power and highlighting various components were designed to tie in with the voiceover track.
