Brief: Under the “Krushi Samruddhi” project of TCS, for the economic upliftment of farmers in Amaravati District, designed an educational board game as an aid for financial literacy of farmers. Designing the game mechanics was our main role; for further graphics development and marketing, the project has been handed over to the concerned people.

About the Board:
The numbers 1-52, on the ring, represent the weeks in one year. The year is divided into four seasons viz. Sowing Season, Tending Season, Harvesting Season and Waiting Season; each having equal number of weeks.
The coloured circles are the slots meant for saving money in bank, according to the respective colors assigned to each of the four players at the beginning of the game. The colours used are Red, Blue, Green and Yellow.
The circles with denomination of 5, 10, 20, 100 and 500 are slots meant for keeping the money that belongs to the bank, according the respective denomination on the coins. the money used in the game are in the form of coins with the mentioned denominations.
The rectangle in the middle is the slot meant for placing the cards along with the card holder. These cards are of either positive nature or negative nature. They are separated into two categories viz. belonging to sowing and tending season, belonging to harvesting and waiting season. The cards involve the various situations that a farmer faces in their day to day life, which are directly or indirectly related to financial upliftment. These cards are meant to be picked up during the game play according to certain simple rules which are mentioned in the rule booklet. Also, the coloured rectangles at the four corners of the board are slot meant for placing the cards, along with the card holder, that have been used by the player during one year of the game.
About the Organising Plates:
Each of the four players is given one organising plate, according to the respective player colors. The purpose of the organising plate is to keep the various cards and other element organised. There are different slots meant for different elements.
