Design & Printing Guidelines

Challenge: Many customers and clients of Gear For You need branded apparel, but lack vector-quality logos or brand standards documents.

Solution: Create an easy to customize template that is able to display a customer's logo, as well as record information from previous requests for future reference (ie. Pantone colors used, preferred typography etc). The finished document will be saved as a pdf so it can be easily viewed on the company server by employees who don't have access to a vector software, as well as opened with either Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw as needed.

Client: Gear For You is a custom apparel company based in Wichita, KS.
The front page of these "Design and Printing Brand Guidelines" can be easily customized to each client's needs, but still retains a uniform appearance for internal viewing.
When the document is opened with a vector software, such as Adobe Illustrator, this second page allows for easy access to the client's primary logos. If the client has more than one variation of their logo this is shown and if they do in fact have an official brand standards document, that would be referenced here as well.
Any fonts used when converting customer-supplied files to vector are included here. Ample blank space is provided for the document to be updated as the client returns with future requests and orders.
Client's brand Pantone colors and the closest available equivalents are listed on this page. Unless the client has a specific Pantone that they need matched Gear For You tries to use an equivalent stock color to keep costs down.
Finally, sample designs from previous orders are shown to give an idea of previous requests and how the logos were used.
