This is a personal project, a space for research and practice around ceramic materials; organic and inorganic, biological and inert, new and old. So mixing these two worlds, bioceramics and regular ceramic, I came up with the idea to create pots with seedbeds for seeds and little plant cuts, with the theory that this new material —made from eggshells and alginate— will nourish the soil.
As recent as it is, there is a lot of experimentation in my process that I would like to discuss in this platform, because I believe in the dissemination of knowledge in order to change certain paradigms we have about design and circular economy, material culture, materialities, etc. What is "defined" and fed back constantly and collectively. I assume myself to be an apprentice of material worlds that speak in interaction with other beings, especially plants.
