This is one of those ideas I've had floating around in my head for a few years.
It was a simple idea, to create a sketchbook that encouraged both writing and drawing with a mixed interior of dotted lines and blank pages.

The size was important as well. Sometimes the small, pocket notebooks feel too disposable and larger books can be cumbersome to carry around. This size (7.5 inch x 5 inch) felt like the ideal size to have on hand whenever an idea came about.

Icon + Initials
The Notebook icon consists of the sketchbook shape which mimics the Uppercase D
& the N is composed of two pencil tips which reinforces the idea of writing and sketching.

Fonts Used
I put two of my typefaces to work for the branding.
I used Hoss Round for the logo type along with Panel Mono and Neighbor
for supporting information. All are available directly from my Foundry (pstypelab.com) or sync with AdobeFonts.

Think Twice.
This became the motto for the product. To both encourage spending time with ideas, to let them marinate and come back to them at a later date.

These Ideas Will Not Be Ignored
I think it is important to get your ideas out of your head. As minimal or underdeveloped as they are, if you give them a place to grow you never know what they can become. 

That is why I made these books.
