Made in a 48-hour horror game jam using Unity with a team of 3 in UVA's Student Game Developers, a boat navigates with low visibility to rescue their crew and avoid sharks. A sonar reveals where objects are, but not what they are, so each blip could be one of your crewmates, a shark going to attack the ship, or a rock which can be used to kill sharks.

This game, while simple, showcased to me the importance of sound and ambiance to create a desired mood. The blips of the sonar puts the player on edge, which makes the scare when a shark appears more significant.

I contributed to the game idea and the mechanics of how the sharks, players, and rocks interacted with each other while the rest of the team implemented the main sonar system.
