This national housing conference is convened every two years by AHURI and Q Shelter were gold sponsors in 2023. Q Shelter held a series of fringe events at the prestigious Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre as a precursor to the conference. The fringe events held were:

- Workforce Wellbeing, Attraction & Rention Workshop (Run by our Workforce Connect program with Indi Dust visual storyteller to help capture input from delegates)

- Strategic networking lunch & afternoon tea

In the evening we partnered with the University of Queensland to produce the 2023 UQ Ventures Industry Challenge Showcase. 

Each year ‘pitch presentations’ are put forward by teams of students from all faculties around a different topic. They are judged and winners announced on the night, lovely big cheques for prizes as pictured! 

This year's challenge focused on the complex issue of housing and homelessness in Queensland as well as the problems and opportunities surrounding Australia's housing crisis.
