I was eager to involve nature with architecture from the first place, I was given a scope to work in this project .If we look at nature, bees are integral part of our ecosystem. They work collectively, leads a disciplined, organized life, maintains a scheduled daily routine as they step out from their hive and collect honey, then return and the cycle continues. Simultaneously, students are also collective and scheduled in their daily life ; waking up from bed to assembly time, tiffin break and so on. I designed courtyard with different size according to age group, so the students don’t get to lead a monotonous a life, they can play, run, explore the places, connect with nature and grow friendship . Surrounded by lush green and garden, these courts can become social hubs for students’ , where they feel like they are in the midst of nature.Inspired from bee hive , the hexagonal blocks can be combined into various combinations of clusters that enclose green space central courtyard. These clusters can be oriented for accessible pedestrian walkways. The hexagon modules proposed aim mainly at creating playful and educational social hubs. The design approach allows children of different ages, interests and abilities to enjoy the space and fit within it easily.
