THE CREATIVE PROCESS
1. CONCEPT
Started off by searching for a magazine concept/theme that is unfamiliar to me. I wanted to do a concept that is out of my comfort zone. And then, I remembered this one Tiktok video that talked about graffiti he found "boring" because some only put "(name) was here." But then, he realized that it was the purpose of graffiti, to tell the world that the artist existed and that they were there. I thought that this could be a unique concept to try in magazine. So, I went with the Graffiti concept.

2. LOCATION, TIME, WARDROBE
Went location scouting for places with graffiti. Prepared clothes to use for the photoshoot that would go well with the concept. Decided to take photos first at school (Option 1: MMCM, Option 2: Roxas, behind ADDU) using the railing, stairs, elevator, parking lot, and glass front of the building.

3. PHOTOSHOOT, RETOUCHING, ENHANCEMENT, COLOR GRADING
Luckily, the weather was good and it gave us some good natural lighting for the shoot. I figured that the lighting in the afternoon would give us the best lighting and light direction. Next, another idea came to mind after seeing the blank walls and told the model "pose as if you're spraying graffiti." Even though we didn't bring a spray can for props, I reassured him to trust my editing skills to manipulate in the spray can and graffiti.
After the photoshoot, I took some photos of graffiti near the school to make use in the magazine. I think Kobe Brant's graffiti strengthened the "leave a mark" phrase more in the concept because of his influence in the Basketball world. See the shots below ;)

4. PHOTO MANIPULATION
Adding in the graffiti, spray can from SketchFab (free 3D resource) and its shadow,
and enhanced the pictures' shadows and lighting.
The Graffiti Galores title wasn't used for the project since we needed to connect it with the clothing's background.
5. MAGAZINE LAYOUT
Task done by Warren Galo. Picked which photos and color scheme to use using Figma, and he also did the front and cover page of the magazine. Huge shoutout to you, War!
