The goal of this project was to create a special gift for clients and friends that contrasts with the fast moving online-world of our times. A piece of work that reflects the benefits of high quality printed matters by special haptic experience, classic, type driven design and timeless content.
We were fascinated by the concept of an everlasting calendar, since we first heard about it. Especially the idea to typographically reinterpret such a complex system of letters and numbers that is usually designed in a very unemotional, not very visually appealing way.
Everything else, like the design, the letterpress printing or the decision for the paper were like natural results of these initial thoughts.
