In the last year of my professional Bachelor, I did my internship at the European Commission as a print and web designer. It was an internship of 3 months. I had the freedom, opportunity and honor to work on almost 20 completely different projects. This was such a unique and educational experience. I was surrounded by a team full of experts and warm people that embraced me in their team as if I worked their for years. I have picked a few print projects to showcase.
Project: Experience Europe
Experience Europe is the new, permanent exhibition in Brussels where you can find out about the European Commission’s core work, priorities and policies, and about EU values, in a playful and interactive environment. I designed this poster, which I took a picture of when it was displayed in the train station of Brussels-Midi.
Project: Banconi Bar
Banconi Bar is a bar where you can eat and drink in the Berlaymont building of the EC. They asked us to create a sticker, that looked like tiles, to put on the front of the bar. The client chose the dark grey - ocher yellow pattern, in the bottom right corner.
Project: Banner Salzburg Conference
On the 25th of Februari 2023, the European Commission organized a conference in Salzburg to discuss the situation after the Covid pandemic. I had to make a banner for this conference.
