A few weeks ago, I had the honor of conducting a workshop on creating prompts for generating images with Artificial Intelligence at the San Francisco University of Quito. At the conclusion of the presentation, I decided to pay tribute to Santiago Gangotena, who was the founder of the University. Santiago tragically passed away on April 21, 2023, in a devastating traffic accident that left the entire USFQ community in mourning. The purpose of this tribute was to remind students of the values upon which the University was founded: Truth, Goodness, Beauty, and Freedom.
After generating the image on Midjourney, I decided to synchronize it with Santiago's real voice, which I had from a video recorded in 2020. I achieved this synchronization using another application, such as Studio DiD.
To be honest, reaching this final result was quite challenging. Uploading Santiago's photo and attempting to make it resemble him proved to be a formidable task. Nevertheless, I succeeded in creating a likeness that pays tribute to him.
