Cache Memory Management
Spring 2011
Dementia is responsible for the loss of brain function, memory, thinking, language, judgment, and behavior.  A family member of a person with this chronic brain disease knows the frustration their loved one suffers due to cognitive impairment.  I want to make life easier for men and women with dementia by consistently tracking their daily activities.

A life without memories would be a loss of both identity and the ability to look forward to the future. We would forever live in the present with no recollection of our past experiences and relationships that shape who we are today.  Cache Memory Management System is devoted to tracking daily activities allowing users to expand and exercise their memory.

Through the use of smart labels such as Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags, it is possible to track and archive where we’ve been.  RFID tags are inserted into personal jewelry, which communicates with an electronic reader detecting where dementia sufferers travel.  The tags create an electronic record.  Seniors have the ability to retrieve stored information on computers and phones through an archive on the Cache Memory Management System software.  This way, daily experiences and places visited can be relived in a virtual world.
