“Eclipsed Humanity”

In this painting, the image of a monster, composed of fragments of various personalities, reflects the essence of a collective inner conflict that accompanies resource consumption and depletion. The black mire symbolizes the devouring of resources, while the absence of a mouth represents silence and the refusal to express thoughts. The creative figure, devoid of eyes, reminds us that in modern society, our relentless pursuit of personal interests can sometimes blind us to see and understand the surrounding problems and truth.

From this amalgamation, two fangs emerge: one resembling a cattle horn protrudes from above, and the other, akin to a predator's, grows from the side. These fangs symbolize the conflict between herd instincts and predatory survival strategies. The spikes that sprout from the monster's mass signify a voracious desire for power over resources.

Additionally, these spikes represent our fierce competition and willingness to sacrifice even others to achieve our goals. The black mire engulfing the monster's face represents irreversible resource consumption that may lead to the destruction of both individual and collective dignity.

Through this painting, I aim to depict how the thirst for consumption and power over resources can transform a person into a monster and devastate their inner essence. This artwork serves as a reminder of the importance of self-reflection and balanced resource usage, as well as the consequences that can arise when we prioritize consumption and power acquisition, neglecting moral and ethical aspects.
